SUNNIES...ON A Budget!!!!!

Dear Reader,

This post is all about where to get cute- good quality Sunnies on a budget...

Sunnies are not only a fun way of updating your look- they are also functional/necessary since they protect your eyes from the sun! Aside from wearing other accessories, when it comes to summer time fashion, sunnies really do make the most impact. In winter- we focus on items like scarves and hats to make maximum impact- but in the summer time sunnies are where its at.  Not only are they a major statement piece but they are also worn on your face which makes it one of the first parts of an outfit someone will take notice of.  One of my Go-TO looks when in a rush or feeling lazy are a white or black tee and leggings- boring- maybe. But when you throw on a cute pair of sunnies- you look like a  fashionable person who made an effort.

Everyone has their own style therefore their own preferences when it comes to Sunnies. Some like a more classic style- some more trendy and some that are just totally attention grabbing and obnoxious (my favorite). Some people like to invest in their Sunnies and keep up to date on designer styles. Some of us can't afford to buy a pair of designer Sunnies each and every time. So for those of you who can't get the $500 pairs- I have the solution for you.

There are a TON of different options. Web sites like Forever21- SheIn- Amazon and QUAY are some of my favorites. Quay is the most expensive of the bunch coming in at an average price of $50- a pair. The quality and styles make the purchase totally worth it.

Here are some of my favorite SUNNIES at the moment- style these with an ALL BLACK outfit or a white tee and leggings and you will look like the most casual yet trendy and stylish girl and everyone will ask WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE SUNNIES?!?!?!?

This pair is from ASOS - they are a beautiful cat eye shape with a gold band at the top. They can be warn with ANYTHING!
This pair I found randomly at WET SEAL and never saw them again. They are Silver mirrored- like the DIOR -So Real Style.

This style is the Delilah from the brand QUAY- they are the most classic chunky cat eyed MATTE Finnish black SUNNIES ever!

Let me know if you have any questions about where to get good Sunnies on a budget and also if there are any posts you would like to see from me!

Till next time!

A Closet of Black...

   Dear Reader,

So what is a Closet of Black you ask? Well, in a quite literal sense, a closet of black clothing-shoes-bags etc. I don't know about all of you, but my wardrobe consists of mostly BLACK. Some people find that to be depressing or un inspired. I find it to be sleek-classic- sophisticated and CHIC as hell. I have nothing against color, nor those who tend to have rainbow colored clothing. I just prefer a sleek canvas of black- and then add subtle interest by adding either texture- colored accessories- incredible shoes as well as MAKE-UP! I find make-up adds something to an all black outfit that really makes a small town PENNSYLVANIA girl like myself look as much as possible like a chic French woman (enter the red lip). Now I want to make something clear- as much as my wardrobe primarily consists of black and only black, I do allow punches of "color" to appear here and there in the forms of grey and white. I find sometimes adding a grey top to a pair of black cigarette trousers adds the same level of "chic" to an outfit as all black would.

This blog is a place for me to document the outfits I wear daily as sort of a clothing diary- as well as a place for you- my potential readers- to hopefully find some outfit inspiration of your own. I hope to appeal to my "all black wearing soul sisters". I will share the places I shop for my clothing  regularly (hello H&M, Forever21 and Shein) as well as where I seek my outfit inspiration. Living in a small town in Northeast PA doesn't really leave much in the "street style" department but I hope to show that inspiration comes in many forms.

Although Fashion is my first passion- my "main squeeze" if you will, I most certainly have also been bit by the Beauty Bug. Cosmetics and skin care are also obsessions of mine. I find that wearing an all black outfit with a stand out lip color or a dark bronzy eye really adds that interest to what some would deem a boring or depressing outfit.

I will end this FIRST blog entry here- with a big hug and a WELCOME to all my "black wearing-soul sisters". Lets use this tiny space of the internet to inspire others. To show that we are not basic or boring with our choice to wear all black. Let us show off our sophisticated style in a way that others will finally understand our color pallet choices! Lets make this an interactive space. Write comments to me as well as other readers. Let us know what you are wearing. Ask questions- where is that top from? Where do you find leggings that aren't so sheer? What is the best brow product so that I don't look like a clown? I will be happy to answer any questions- as I have been doing so for years with friends and family. I want this to be a place that can be used before you go out on a Friday night or out for dinner with friends and just can't find anything to wear. Style inspiration- mostly on a budget is the main goal here. Ramble over... until next time.
